Portrait Photography

Custom portraits are great conversations where there happens to be a camera present. What I mean by this is that everyone is a little self-conscious when having their portrait. To overcome this anxiety the photographer must work to establish a bond with the subjects and put them at ease. Five or ten minutes of conversation results in the portraits that capture the essence of the subject. This is my goal with every shoot. I want to provide you with images that capture your personality. At the end of the day I want you to have a timeless photograph to hang on your wall that you will cherish.

I shoot exclusively on location. Sometimes that location is a park, the beach, a favorite place, or your home. I use natural light and studio lighting based on my client's needs. Whether you wish to have a formal portrait or wish to capture a more informal mood, I look forward to working with you to accomplish your portrait goals.
